Notice & Takedown / Report Abuse

ShornHub embeds third-party YouTube videos and also lets shepherds upload their own. We respect intellectual property and take illegal content seriously. If something here infringes your rights or breaks the law, tell us and we'll act promptly.

How to file a notice

Email mark+shornhub@ginger.land with:

• The exact ShornHub URL(s) of the content in question.
• What the problem is (e.g. copyright infringement, or illegal/harmful content).
• If copyright: proof you own or represent the rights holder, and details of the original work.
• Your name and contact details.
• A statement that your complaint is made in good faith and is accurate.

What happens next

• We aim to review valid notices within a few days.
• If upheld, we remove or disable the content.
• For embedded YouTube videos you may also report to YouTube directly, since they host the file.

Repeat infringers

Uploads from repeat infringers will be removed and their access may be blocked. This is our designated notice-and-takedown route for the purposes of hosting-provider liability protections.

For lighter, non-legal gripes (a wonky shear, a suspected goat), use the fun Report a Bad Shear form instead.
